Airport Info
London Southend Airport is an international airport in the district of Rochford within Essex, England, approximately 42 miles from the centre of London.

During the 1960s, Southend was the third-busiest airport serving London. It remained the third-busiest airport in terms of passengers handled until the end of the 1970s, when the role of third airport for London passed to Stansted.

EGNX East Midlands

Airport Info
East Midlands Airport is an international airport in the East Midlands of England, located in Leicestershire close to Castle Donington.
It lies between the cities of Nottingham (15 miles (24 km)) Leicester (18 miles (29 km)) and Derby (14 miles (23 km)).
It mainly serves the counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire and South Yorkshire.

Passenger numbers peaked in 2008 at 5.6 million, but had declined to 4.3 million in 2013 making it the 11th busiest airport in the UK by passenger traffic.
However as a major air cargo hub, it was the second busiest UK airport for freight traffic in 2013.

Because of its strategic location and excellent cargo facilities East Midlands was an easy choice for the Airwego Group when choosing the AirweCargo UK base.
From here we fly freight to a myriad of locations across the globe, driven by the ever changing needs of our diverse clientele. In doing so we join DHL, UPS, Royal Mail and others in using the large cargo facility with a runway length capable of taking the very largest aircraft in the fleet and enabling raid road transport for our freight via the adjacent motorway systems feeding North, South and Central UK.

AirweGold Tours

AirweGOLD offers Grand Tours of the Continents using the B757-200 carrying less than 40 high end tourists.

Over the course of a tour you will visit key locations and cities allowing you to explore the wider virtual world away from the core of our mainstream operations.

Each tour comes with its own "itinerary storybook" which you should download before starting the tour together with the freeware scenery list, which complements the tour, along with specific FMC plans available for both freeware and payware 757-200 aircraft.

The itinerary storybook will highlight destinations where additional "free flights" may be flown to adjacent sightseeing areas by our pilots.

Fly the sectors sequentially, with suitable rest periods between flights or independently, where you may have been part of a relief crew to fly specific sectors, the choice as always is yours!

Multi Link Flights

Cargo Multi Link

Apart from the direct Cargo flights out of East Midlands there is the opportunity to take our Boeing 757 or McDonnell MD11 cargo fleet across the length and breadth of Europe stopping at various destinations to transport freight for a myriad of clients including specialist freight links for Airbus and the Royal Air Force.

Fly these sequentially, with suitable rest periods between flights or independently, where you may have been part of a relief crew to fly specific sectors, the choice as always is yours!

Caribbean Island Links

Definitely some of our crews favourite trips!

Fancy flying the DH6 Twin Otter with its incredible STOL qualities in and out of some of the most scenic but challenging airports in the world or brining a big jet to land while at St.Maarten while just feet above the beach?

This collection of flights link the islands of the Caribbean into our route network ferrying tourist and local alike

Each of these "round robin" flights has its own character but share the need for a knowledge of VFR and IFR hands on flying giving the opportunity for flights that you will remember.

Norwegian Community Links

Using DHC 6 Twin Otter STOL aircraft we provide important links for local access and tourism from our bases in Bergen and Bodo to the smaller community based airports on Norway`s Western coast whose limited runways and often difficult approach terrain are limiting in aircraft type.

These flights, often short in length, will take our crews and passengers through some of Northern Europe`s most mountainous and dramatic scenery. Many of our destinations in the these link services are the side of the Norwegian fjords with the lakes flanked by towering mountains.

These routes change dramatically with the seasons and demand high levels of concentration flying at restricted altitudes. A challenge for VFR and IFR flying abilities.

United Kingdom Link Flights

The use of our DH6 Twin Otter fleet in the Caribbean and Norway carrying out circular tours of far flung communities has proved very popular with our crews. Therefore we are developing similar "multi link" services in the UK.

The first of these is the Wales Hopper service which links Cardiff and Swansea in the South to West and North Wales airports returning via Mid Wales overflying the picturesque Snowdonian mountain range, the beautiful West Wales coastline and the Brecon Beacons.

As always you pick any leg of these routes to fly and enjoy as time allows.
